SSA, SSN and wait times - Page 49
Went to the SSA office to get a printout and it went smoothly. It actually took about an hour to get in-there was a lot of people- but once I was inside, I was in and out in about 10 min with my SSN in hand 
BTW I didn't wait the 10 days, and I guess I just got lucky. Now it's time to send out my résumé and hope to land a new -and better- job

today I got my EAD in the mail, so I went to the SSA office. When i arrived i was given a ticked so i went to sit down, no more than a minute and my number gets called lol, I greeted the guy, gave him my card, passport and birth certificate. he asked like 4 questions and that was it. I didnt have to wait 10 days, he said i should be getting my card in the mail in 7 to 10 days. yey
