Here is what I got from ILRC:

As USCIS is approving many DACA renewal requests within one month of expiration, ILRC is only elevating DACA cases whose expiration will occur within the next two weeks. If your DACA renewal has not been approved two weeks before expiration, please follow-up with the ILRC again to have your case elevated.

I know right, but I just got my call back and received my tracking... It was shipped today

Did you speak to a tier 1 rep for tracking?

You know tier 1 are useless, when I called he was reading me some scripts about 60 days non sense. I politely told him I was advised to call and speak to tier 2 to have my tracking and I was transferred.

I believe you can only do this step when it's reflecting in your account

Thanks! I did my walk-in bio last friday, 9/2 and have been waiting ever since. I expire on 10/26 so I have about a month and half..I'll wait a bit more and send them an email maybe next week.

Where do you see that card went into production? In Elis or case tracker?

jimx91, I tried walking into an ASC earlier without a biometrics appointment earlier. Thankfully, I wasn't turned away right at the door. I asked whether they could check to see if my notice was somehow lost, and the intake rep told me it was not yet scheduled. I of course asked whether they could do bios without an appointment notice, and they were firm that they couldn't. Nevertheless, I was polite yet persistent and was eventually able to talk to an officer there, who was able to look up when a request had been made for scheduling. My bios are still not scheduled, but at least I was able to find out when they put the request in. I'm praying that I will receive a notice fairly soon.

I will reiterate what many have already said: it really is up to each individual ASC. Thank God the rep and the officer were nice and actually gave me service. I have read online that some centers will not even let you talk to the reps without an appointment notice. If you do try to walk in without a biometrics appointment, be prepared to get a no, but do make the trip to the center worth your while. Be honest, polite, and persistent and pray for the best.
