Is this guy serious? Do you guys really believe all the crap he's giving out? Omg, let me give you a real advice, wait till DA/CIR passes and dont do anything risky to jeopardize your qualification. This troll is a serious threat to others who are actually desperate enough to follow his crap filled advice. I should contact the admin about this guy.

he is trying to send that guy with a yearbook as a form of ID from Chicago to Washington to get his license.

Actually, if you read the official DMV page for the state of WA (Link: http://www.dol.wa.gov/driverslicense/idproof.html) you will see under "Other acceptable List B documents with your name and date of birth, signature, or photo" it does say yearbook with recognizeable photo. If you can't find it on the page, here is the direct quotes:

Quote:
Other acceptable List B documents with your name and date of birth, signature, or photo
Divorce decree that contains your name and signature (filed with the county)
Driving record from another state issued within the past 30 days
Foreign passport that has expired within 5 years, or without an I-94/I-94W form or temporary I-551 ADIT stamp
Foreign driver license expired not more than 5 years. The license must have security features and be verifiable.
Valid Guatemala Consulate ID card
Marriage license or certificate (filed with the county)
Medicare card
Valid Mexican Matricula Consular ID card
Mexican school record with a seal and your photo at the age when issued
School transcript with your date of birth
School yearbook with your recognizable photo
Social Security card with your signature. We will verify your number with the Social Security Administration.
Transportation Worker Credential (TWIC)
U.S. Merchant Mariner’s card (valid or expired within the past 5 years)
Let's do research before we start accusing people of providing wrong info so we don't end up with foot-in-mouth syndrome.

Also, Steviola, some people here have waited for far too long. While a lot of them are still in high school or barely just graduated, some of us have had A LOT of time to think about what they're doing and weighing the consequeces. If these people are willing to go for it, they are fully aware of the risks. Besides, this is not against the law, and better than to drive without a liscense or obtain a fake liscense.

If the state of WA is providing DL's for people who don't have SSN's (which they know for a fact that they are undocumented because what American of driving age does not have a SSN???) it's because they know that it's better to liscense these people to drive than to have people that don't know how to drive driving anyways.

You know sometimes not taking any risks in life will not lead to happiness!
Stop being such P*ssies and do some research before you accuse someone!
Every single requirement that posted is 100% accurate! and yes a yearbook is a valid form of Identification, along with 4 other documents from LIST B.

yeah... i guess that was funny, sorry about that, it was posted a few minutes before I left for work and I was not thinking The biggest problem is that I just looked at the most recent post and not everything that could have lead to that. I hate the foot-in-mouth syndrome lol

But seriously, a yearbook, it just seems so easily manipulated and faked for that purpose, I just jumped on that assumption, sorry for calling you dangerous KindaWant.

Im new here so you all might not know me.
I've been in the states since the age of 7. I'm 24 now. Went out of status when my mom's visa expired before I turned 18.
Anyways, I've been reading up on this forum whenever I had questions, but this time I want to share.

I'm going to Seattle, WA to get a Driver's License in two weeks.
I have a connection over that can put my name on a utility bill, meet me there when the document is done, and mail me the DL when it arrives at the address on the utility bill. I live in Cali so I'll be driving there.

My connection is providing me a place to stay and guiding me through the process when I arrive in Seattle.

I'm lucky I have this connection. If you don't know anyone that will do this for you, you need ONE important thing.

MONEY.

Go move there for 2 weeks. Pay up-front for the room or apt. THis will give you that specific address under your name without having to sign a lease (requires SSN). Simultaneously, order cable or internet to that new address.
once you've lived there or technically lived there for 2 weeks, call the company you order that cable/internet/water/etc. from and ask them to mail you the bill (since the bills usually go out once a random day of the month). After the two weeks, IF YOU HAVE MONEY, you might even still be in WA. Pick up that bill from your rented room. Bring it to a nearby DOL office with at least 4 documents from LIST B on this guide and be ready to take the written and driving test.

Here is where it gets tricky. The DL Card will be sent to the address on that utility bill. You need to pick it up or have someone pick it up for you and mail it back.

The key here is this. YOU NEED CASH.
You need cash to pay for the room
You need cash to pay for the plane/drive there and back (maybe more than once)
You need cash to pay the DOL Office for the license
You need cash to pay the UTILITY BILL.

If you have no CASH, only way is to work at a restaurant.
I get paid $3600 a month making sushi.
I know dishwashers that make $2800 easy.
Move to cali where money is big.
Then go to Seattle.

[mod edit]

If you're not down to go through this trouble, you don't deserve the honor of being a part of this immigrant nation.
