But it wouldn't work, repubs wouldn't vote for it, Illegal Immigrants and taxes don't go well in the same sentence with Republicans unless they are saying one of 2 things.

1: Illegals don't pay taxes
2: We loose tax payer dollars to illegals.
They just reported that they won't be voting on the tax cuts extensions until after the elections... so you never know. lol

*sigh*

How does it not offend me? adding bullshit provisions to something I could benefit out of? I'm glad any of you are not politicians or else we'd be in bigger trouble.

I think the guys who are upset with us simply talking about what would make a good compromise are taking this to seriously. It won't happen, but we all know the DREAM Act has had to become stricter over the years to gain more support.

Politics and Compromise go hand in hand.

For those of you who are not willing to compromise, keep in mind that the Dream Act was first introduced in 2001. If it does not get passed this year in its current form, then perhaps something needs to change.

Whats scary is that what 'IF' the DREAMer has unusual circumstances and cannot complete a 2 year degree and/or serve in the military for 2 years? What if this DREAMer gets disabled?

Anything can happen in those 6 years.
