We have to be optimistic remember that after June 15, ICE/USCIS took a more proactive role in PD/Deferred Action on cases where individuals were in custody/removal proceedings, where by the Aug. 2 or 3rd press conference when some more details were given they had already approved 1500 cases. So w/out new USCIS adjudicators they were able to go thru. at least 1500 cases.

Food for thought.

There were some posters who were part of those approved cases. They posted around June. It didn't take long for them at all to get the EAD, etc. I think it was 2 - 4 weeks

Did they ever provide any details to when/how they started the process?
USCIS/ICE asked for evidence. etc.

They most likely were under removal proceedings which is why it took so little time.

I definitely see those who have done their biometrics to start getting EADs by end of this month. Just judging from how fast things are going so far, I wouldn't be surprised if this happens. Hang on folks...it's almost here. Someone mentioned this above, the whole point of Obama announcing this policy is to win votes in November...I'm sure USCIS will try as hard as possible to get as many applicants approved before the elections to help the Obama administration out. Class act B...what a masterpiece of a move man.
