Yep, the actual lawyer. The only thing I got to track this thing is my money order tracking number and it still hasn't been cashed

I really just want to know at what point, if this money order is not cashed do I demand I get the track number?

he probably did not mail the app. may be he will mail app now because you asked him tracking number.

I have to agree that it is a strange policy; ECW, did the lawyer mail your forms by Express Mail, or was it by Priority Mail? Is he willing to disclose that information? It is your case so I would think that you are entitled to knowing more details (unless something in the fine print for his law firm states that you will not receive information on tracking?).

I don't know what mailing service he used , I called his office on August 30th and his secretary told me it was already sent out. I called back again yesterday and spoke directly with him and he told me it's a policy he has of not releasing tracking information but I should hear something by the end of the month.

Hmmm...personally I would ask for some confirmation it was sent or application was accepted. If he can't give you a tracking number at least he could track it himself and at least give you peace of mind that application got there? I don't know your lawyer or how comfortable you feel with him, so it is hard to know if there is a reason to worry.

I havent been waiting for two weeks but i hope i dont. I got my i-797c's on saturday and i hope i get my biomerics by friday. I hate this whole waiting thing!
