They're knocking off a year as a punishment for walk-ins. You couldn't wait a few weeks so they're giving you the shortest amount of time to wait before you have to re-new.

One last message.

I contacted my lawyer who said that the Deferred action is "up to two years" so it's not a guarantee to get two years. When I contacted USCIS the rude guy mentioned that it is at the office's discretion. Therefore it may be possible that Vermont will be issuing one year EADs. It is not only the card that says 2013 but the receipt itself from the SC says 2013.

Stay tuned. I have contacted other DAP users who were approved from VT and we'll see if there's a pattern.

You remind me of my 18 yo sister. I wish I knew your parents so I could tattle on you.

With that being said, I wish you the best of luck.

If you don't understand how imperitivly important this is then no amount of comments will make you understand.

Sounds logical.

My I821D approval says deferred for two years, 2012-2014.

That is extremely weird.
I would contact Luis Gutierrez for a congressional inquiry, first case i see this.

Yeah I was granted deferred action for two years. It is my work authorization that's valid for only one year. It's just a theory but the two other DAP users who were approved may not have gotten their cards yet. If a pattern forms I can guarantee it'll show up on this thread.

The only receipt with dates on mine is I-797 for I821D which deferred me for 2 years.
