I know what you mean. The SSA offices in Las Vegas are open from 9am to 3pm () Mon-Friday, and are always packed with people and lazy workers.

Hey guys, so I received my EAD with a typo on my DOB (I made the typo on the I765 application) back on 10/15 and I have contacted USCIS and issued a service request on 10/16. They've told me that I would receive some kind of notification within in 15 days but of course it's been 30 days and I still haven't received anything. So I called again today and the lady said a letter was sent out but for some odd reason they sent it to a different house number.....FAIL. Then she read off the letter and it basically stated to return the incorrect EAD card to USCIS California Service Center, ATTN: Customer Service WS#XXXXX , 24000 Avila Rd, Laguna Niguel CA 92677. The letter didn't mention anything about including a cover letter explaining the typo, a copy of approval notice nor a copy of passport but I guess it won't hurt to include those anyways. Oh and one interesting thing is that I thought the typo was in their system and not just on the card because both my i-797c and the EAD card had the typo but when the lady pulled my info today she said the system has my correct DOB. So I am assuming that first service request did in deed correct my DOB in the system and that they're just waiting for me to return my card..

Ahhh! I now think I should have sent my EAD back right away...

The Tuesday InfoPass appointment I had was canceled because the office was closed due to flooding.
I rescheduled for this upcoming Tuesday.

Another thing, USCIS told you to send the EAD back with the approval notice... I never received an approval notice for my EAD. I only received the EAD mailer (where the EAD was attached) and my DACA approval letter.
My brother received all three though (EAD approval letter, DACA approval letter, and EAD mailer).

I wonder if this is going to affect me !

the rep told me to send only copies of the approval notices so i wouldn't be left with nothing and idk honestly but i guess they ask different things from other ppl just send them what they asked you for and you will be fine. Like i know someone else on here was asked to fill out another i765 app and i wasn't.

I'm still waiting to get that letter/notice they were gonna sent to me about the mistake on my EAD Card (wrong birthdate) Hopefully I get it tomorrow...... or I'm going to have to call again...

Could you please post a picture of what the EAD approval letter looks like? My sister also only received the paper attached with the EAD card, and some small piece of paper with general information about EAD and advance paroles, etc. No letter about approval of EAD.

BY THE WAY, update regarding my sister's typographical error:
Even though I did not visit one of the USCIS office through InfoPass, USCIS fixed the typographical errors on both the EAD and the i821D approval letter (Though EAD only has middle initial).

What I did:
Called them and told them about the error. They gave me two REF numbers for i821D and for i797 or whatever.

Then, about a week or two later, I received two mails regarding the typographical errors, and how they would review the error at processing time/at the end.
