I should be good right?
Im leaving soon To mexico on granted AP.
Little nervous tho. Im leaving from LAX to Mexico.
Upon your return in brazil to board the plane, did they ask to see your documents? Why do you say the airplane should of kept one copy?
You'll be fine! Again, it didn't feel like I was being "analyzed" and that they were deciding whether to let me in or not. It felt very "standard", like they see this every day. I think they would only deny someone if something very wrong caught their attention (if you mentioned having a criminal history, gang activity, drug use, etc). Just try to remain calm and answer their questions truthfully and you'll be fine (I brought up not being able to work before they had a chance to ask me if I did, just in case).

As for the airline, I gave them my AP and the attendant kept asking me to "see my visa" too. I calmly explained that that was my "visa" and had to read to her the first paragraph that says the airline can take us without a visa. I think the attendant didn't speak english well because she went and got someone else and they said "oh, that's for people waiting for their green cards" and handed me back the AP.

Best of luck and let us know how it goes!!

No worries about that, there have been other cases of EWI's that got in just fine!

I would just recommend having an answer ready if they ask if you're going to adjust status. In my case, I don't have any pending applications with USCIS but I told them I would apply through my parents once they became citizens. If you don't have anyone in your family who could eventually legalize you, at least make up a story and say you are engaged to a citizen and will be getting married soon or something. I think they just want to hear that you have a plan.

Best of luck and let us know how it goes!

There has actually been other cases on this thread, traveling and returning/entering back without a problem. If I remember correctly there has been 3 or 4 people who have traveled aboard, Mexico, Asia and Italy.

I'm so sorry if this is redundant or if I just sound stupid, but can anyone please help me clarify what the grounds of inadmissibility means and why I shouldn't have any of those before I leave the country on AP?

Grounds of inadmissibility basically means if you have any other reason to be denied (other than illegal presence). Do you have any criminal history? Any past encounters with USCIS/CBP/ICE? Pending orders of deportation?
If you've never been arrested or come in contact with immigration at all, you should be in the clear Good luck!

Okay so im feeling a little nervous and anxious.
I will be leaving next saturday to mexico. It's just kicking in
Now.. My parents are kind of eeeh about me leaving, that's what
Makes me nervous, they've heard some stories about people leaving with permit and not being able to , return i keep trying to explain to them that this is AP through DACA and god knows what those other peoples statuses were. Well im trying to stay positive not only because of my AP but also for the airplane ride. It's my first time!! Ahhh

You'll definitely be alright just as long you don't have a criminal background or anything pending with immigration. Please let us know how everything goes as soon as you get back.

Everything should be fine. I submitted my application for AP two weeks ago and I am hoping that it gets approved. Let us know how everything goes and good luck!
