Why don't you explain tbe situation? You have your id/social/ ead approval that should be enough. Your approval has your info. Just tell her what happened. Don't resign unless they don't take you in.

I have my receipts but they serve no purpose. I am currenlty working but not because of the receipt

Whydontilook,

I explained my situation to my supervisor, she said everything should be fine, worst case scenario would be to not for a week or two till i recieve the receipt in the mail. what i though was funny was that she had no idea of what an ead card was...lol

do you need a police report to prove that it's lost or if it is stolen?

No, if your employer cannot physically examine it and verify, then they cannot allow you to work. Now that goes for employers that are strict it all depends. My employer has put me unpaid leave till my receipt comes in the mail.

Wow im really hoping i can get my card within 90days after the receipt, but from the looks of i might fall in the same boat as you. Wow 6 month wait for a replacement, I would think it wouldnt take long to make another card. We're up for renewal next year any way, wonder how long thats gonna take.

Whydontilook, does yr receipt also say that we have to go through biometrics again? Its weird because theres no indication on my receipt that it is for a replacement card. Have you thought about expiditing your application?

Yep it says next step is Bios, but you won't have to do them. I tried the expidite but it got denied because it wasnt severe enough.
