I sent mine on April 1, It got sent to Nebraska Center and was received on April 3 and a notice of receipt was sent to me on April 8. I live in California so I received it on April 11. Now im just waiting on my Bio Letter I hope I get it soon.

I have the same timeline as you also. Well sorta maybe a day or two off give or take.
I just received my bio letter yesterday. So I'm sure your wait shouldn't be too long now.

Yes I received my Bio Letter yesterday, Yay ^^ I have it scheduled for May 7, But im thinking of doing a walk-In but idk if they accept walk-ins, if not ill just go on the 7th

What happens when you dont have a valid ID, do you need to go to your consulate to get a new passport?

Not sure, I've heard cases where a school ID was okay.
And other people I've heard have also taken the birth certificate also.

But I might be wrong tho.

I also have my appintment for may 7th.
Not gonna try to do walk in just gonna wait.
Its only about 2 weeks away.

I'm waiting for my Bio letter, let's see how that goes. I also heard taking your passport or ID and birthcertifate is enough just take multiple forms of ID just to be safe, the more the better. What do people mean by Walk in to do your Bio? Can't they say "no that's why you got an appointment?" How much is the difference of waiting by doing your bio early?

It means that instead of waiting till your appointment date you go to a service center and get your bios done ahead of schedule. Some centers won't allow you to just walk in ahead of schedule. But I've heard some center actually welcome walk ins.

by passport they mean passport from ones country right?
I got a drivers license but it expires on May 5th, 10 days before my appointment and I cant get it renewed. Im doing mine in San Francisco and the paper didnt mention anything about walk ins being a possibility. Thinking of re-scheduling my appointment, since I dont know how long it takes to get a passport from my countrys consulate
