Then they say we are stealing jobs.. before I was promoted he went through 4 white people that did not tolerate him and left and he paid them $34/hr he pays me less than half of what he paid them and he didn't have them answering the after hours calls!!! its truly ridiculous. I do not regret anything though, this job has taught me tolerance and I have a great work ethic that I'm sure my future employer will value.
I am sure that those people who make fun of you are not as happy as you are. We all have so much in common as undocumented that makes us attracted to other undocumented. I personally wouldn't mind sharing my life with an undocumented

You should wait for your permit. Once you have a permit, you should look into moving away from there. Once you are positive that you will get hired elsewhere, tell him to raise your $16 to $34 to see what he says.

I've seen so many cases (with documented people, not undocumented) where they let the person go, and still hire a new one at the higher rate! I honestly can't understand this way of thinking.

Yeah, we understand each other and he is always there for me That is my plan as soon as I get that beautiful, amazing, wonderful card I am gone!! I have always held good jobs for not having papers so hopefully that continues when I do! I have no idea what he would say if I asked for that. I have never stood up to him or complained so he would not expect that from me!

I'm sure I've seen mostly all (thankfully, that means experience). Maybe it could be the place of work and the location, but yeah, I've seen that happen in several occassions.

He doesn't see it coming but people reach a limit. I am sure he won't find someone else to pay a mere $16 and do the same things you do and on top of that...endure verbal abuse .

I don't like your attitude.

That's probably what he would do then. I don't think I would want to stay even for 34/hr. This job is so stressful and its too much... I had my gallbladder removed last year and was back at work the next day he would NOT allow time to recover I was at work throwing up from the anesthesia. I am due in October and he wants me to take three days off from work when I deliver .. BUT WORK FROM THE HOSPITAL and home and then return to work full time -_-

lc4l- You're still undocumented and you have the attitude of an America Citizen, don't forget where you came from and where you're still at!
