I would rather they end the visa lottery system and include all dreamers instead

Sources inside the White House tell ABC News that the president has expressed a willingness to support legal status for 'Dreamers' in exchange for full funding of his border wall at a cost of about $20 billion over seven years.

Trump has expressed a willingness to do this, sources tell ABC News, even if he gets nothing on the two other big Republican immigration priorities: Ending the visa lottery system and restricting so-called chain migration."
This is fake news otherwise it would've been done already.

I just find it so hypocritical that there was virtually no second thought on his end about what the base might think regarding tax cuts when he ran on not giving tax cuts to the wealthy...

But now his staff and advisers are so worried about the immigration issue. He’s not going to help us so long as he listens to Kelly, Miller, McConnell, Mulvaney, Short, Meadows, Ryan. They are not here to help us and will not follow through on any promises.

I feel like if it was up to Trump we would've had green cards already in exchange for his wall but unfortunately he doesnt really run things in the WH

My feeling is the Dems are not being sincere enough on their end, as well. Schumer said he offered him the wall bit wouldnt say how much...why? Bc i suspect it was not even close to the full amount he had asked for. I actually believe the WH on this one.

Dems can easily offer him much more but they really want best of both worlds: a daca deal on their terms + concede no trump victory ahead of 2018 elections.

They're just playing the trump game. I'm fine with that.

Read it article. Protection for 800k.

Not 1.3 million extended dreamers.

Extended dreamers were always the sticking point.

Dude Schumer just spoke on the floor right now and he's holding strong. He said Dems don't want a wall but will do it, Trump asked for a $ and Schumer agreed. This is on Trump and his inconsistency, he changes his mind by the hour. Dems are doing their job

Schumer said that Trump was the one who floated a number, and then Schumer agreed to it. Trump came up with the number. I'm fine with Schumer not negotiating terms through the media.
