Bro, read my arguments closely. I am not saying Democrats WILL use their leverage. I am placing partial blame on the Democratic leadership for not using its leverage.

On that same note, I am telling all of you to call out Democrats on this.

Does that make sense?

best thing im hoping for is that SCOTUS will rule on our side.

Democrats can negotiate all they want but it will be shot down everytime because Republicans are in the majority, thats just the harsh truth.

and the fact dtrt09 is lying about Democrats not negotiating is misplaced and providing wrong information here.

THEY NEGOTIATED MULTIPLE TIMES and SHUTDOWN THE GOVT but it doesnt matter cause they dont control the agenda.

if something passes for us this cycle, it will be on Republicans' terms and will harm the rest of the immigrant community.
Well if nothing passes it will continue to hurt the community. Deportations are not gonna stop dreamers without daca will be targeted.

And lets not fool ourselves with the lets wait till 2020 democrats will save us. They will find a way to pretend to be doing shit and continue to milk us.

Bro I was replying to dtrt09.

This forum software is quite stupid at quoting everything...

don't be so defensive.
You implied that the less dreamers included the better since it has more chance of passing under trump. Which is true but if democrats include all the dreamers for what republicans are asking it is possible to include all of them.

well it doesnt really matter at this point, the best chance DACAers have is the SCOTUS and the injunction.

im not saying we should wait for elections, but what can we really do now?

if some sort of relief passes this cycle, Dreamers will be fine but what about the rest? Republicans control everything right now, they might wanna legalize us but they want anti-immigration priorities in exchange.

Tbh with you i dont give a fuck about the rest. Only dreamers if they pass a CIR that would be great. If they pass something for dreamers that doesnt include me ill cry for like a week and pack my bags and then unpack them and just continue life untill i get deported but i just want something to happen.

lmao gaddaym! well im just trying to strike a balance here.

ill sign up for whatever they "pass" for relief. not gonna lie.

but we have some aged out and young dreamers that are not on DACA, and if we can wait for a better deal, then thats fine. (as long as DACA is still in place tho. lol) if there was no injunction i prolly wouldnt be as calm as i am right now.
