Update you guys!!! My mom got approved for her green card through my brother last Friday , green card arrives today.
Her timeline !
Apps sent i-130 and I-485 7/20/18
Approved 3/29/19
It took around 8 months and 10 days
No interview required.
__________________
EAD expires 6/1/18
3rd renewal sent 1/16/18
Recieved by USCIS 1/17/18
Biometrics scheduled 1/27/18 Done 2/10/18
Approved 2/22/18. Card in hand 3/6/18

10 months and still nothing. The processing times online have increased from 7-9 months to 10-13 months for a US Citizen petitioning their parents so I can’t even ask for a case inquiry. I know of someone who applied last May and barely got a response last month.

I don’t understand why residents have less time with their processing times than actual citizens.https://i.imgur.com/tzjDRxy.jpg

My grandma adjusted in like 3 months. I did the paperwork.

Same situation.

There is no interview.

What a nightmare. Just saw they extended the waiting period to 11-14 1/2 months. First it was 7-10 months and then 10-13 months.

I wonder if it’s because of all the people applying for asylum.
