Conservatives can talk all they want about Mexico, but the reality on the ground is that the US needs Mexico, Mexican labor, and Mexican products.

It simply is too expensive to have a citizen do it. It being manufacture things, work the fields, write the software, blue collar, white collar, etc.

We've already hashed it out, but simply put American manufacturers can't compete with China without tariffs that will be ultimately paid by the end consumer. They understand how corporate taxes work, but not tariff taxes.

You can ignore reality, but not the consequences of ignoring reality.

Should I be wary of ICE officers here in NYC? Mayor Adams is really sucking up to Trump for a pardon so.

He's going to make them pay for the wall. For real this time!

I heard ICE is paying $750 out for reporting illegals. Dunno if it is true or not.

The whole thing is cruel, doesn't offer realistic solutions for either undocumented workers or the country.

A final order does not mean criminal. Lots of Dreamers, TPS, etc have one. Lots of people with final orders have pending petitions.

The entire Dem party did not bring a single immigration bill or legislation up for debate or a vote for the fucking entirety of the 118th Congress!

Durbin, Schumer, Murray, or Jayapal, all in leadership committees. For an entire presidency actually.

They had control of both houses for two full years and failed miserably and their reward is tighter races.

Oh well. Bring on the changes. I think this might get resolved if there's pain at the pump when gas prices don't go down and when food costs escalate. Because they removed all the specialized labor.

Can we turn ourselves in. We are technically undocumented. $750 goes a long way towards credit card payments and it doesn't seem to have a redemption limit. Though of course it's not real.

I'd just cycle in and out.
