Do you mean ten days after applying or ten days after the date the EAD is issued?

And is this from a certain source? I only ask because if it is, I'd like to print it out and show it to my local office if they try to say "no."

10 days after the valid date of your ead. That's my letter that I got. No source.

Yes. Mail. That's after you've been cleared from DHS by SSA.

I went to the SSA ( in downtown Phoenix) to get my ssn print out. The guy at the window tells me to give him a second, so that he can go ask the manager. He returns and tells me no, that they couldn't give me a print out. I almost screamed out loud. I calmed down and looked for the other SSA in the area. I headed that way with hope. I get there and it was completely empty, compared to the other office. I asked her if I could get like a reference number or something. She looked it up and told me that it had already been issued yesterday. Then she asked, "Would you like a print out?" I was like "YES!!! MAM." lol that was my story for today.

Good job. That's exactly what I did. I went to another one because my local one refused to give me a print out.

Some people can be pretty heartless sometimes.
