USCIS's incompetence is mind boggling!
In other news, my senator reached out the USCIS for a response about why my EAD is delayed and what they are doing. Hoping that would push them to do something.

Lol welcome to the party.
For us there isn't any average time as of yet since all of us on this thread are stuck in EAD production. Usually I've seen others within a week see approved go into card goes into production and actually receiving the card by more or less in two weeks. But some of us are stuck in some EAD production delay :/

I called USCIS and tried the Spanish route. They say my card is in production as of Sep 22 and that it may take up to 60 days to receive my EAD. They informed me they are unable to see if the card is finished as case tracker would reflect that and blah blah blah...

Sigh

It seems they are having issues with EAD production now. Sigh now the waiting game.

Latest with my situation
I was DACA approved on 08/25/16
Neither ELIS nor Case Tracker show my card in production
I submitted a SR on 09/7/16 got a response on 09/12/16 Generic BS that if I don't see anything in 60 days contact them again
I submitted another SR on 09/20/16 through a Tier 2 and that still has not been assigned to an officer
I emailed my Congressman on 09/26/16
09/28/16 My congressman and several others sent a Letter to USCIS questioning the Delay in DACA
09/29/16 My Congressman sent me a Privacy Act form to sign and submit, sent it immediately got a response from them saying they will my inquiry on my behalf.

I've been out of work since 08/04/16 this is killing me we are losing everything

Hang in there everyone. It's coming. I know it's super easy to lose it but just remember that you're already approved and that's what a lot of people are waiting to hear.

Anyone located in the SF bay area interested in doing a local segment with Telemundo and Univision on this let me know - Both have contacted me in regards to covering this issue.

OK, Thanks.

Did you see the I765 app approved on ELIS initially though? Also, email USCIS through secure inbox or create an SR. Both indicated I was approved and production of card.
I did see the I765 approval but a couple of days later it reverted to "Has Accepted Your Application For Review"

The thing about the I765 timeline is, I am not expecting them to give me the 2 years no matter what (which if pushed off because of the EAD card delay would cause me to have some weeks after my I821D expires)...

I was wondering the situation where lets say I found out my EAD card was in production today, and then the actual date printed on the card is like 9/29/2016 to 8/9/2018?? Why wouldn't this happen? Is it an official automatic thing where we are guaranteed the 2 year work permit timeline that coincides with our I821D approval timeline? I figured that we would have the time taken from us...
