Hi, my application was received on August 9 -- I still haven't gotten my biometrics appointment. Did this happen to anyone else. I keep calling to open a case but 'their services are down'

Just got off the phone with USCIS, again.

The person I spoke with was perfectly nice, yet very unhelpful.

He suggested I submit a service request for extreme hardship. When I said ok lets do it, he said he wasn't capable of creating a service request for me. (so then why even suggest it, right?)

He said some computers were down and I would literally have to play phone roulette and see if I get lucky enough to speak with an officer who can submit a service request for me.

By this point I was ready to blow my lid. WHY ON EARTH ARE THEY SO UNHELPFUL AT USCIS!!!!

It has to be politics. It just has to. I've seen people on facebook who literally did their bios and ONE day later get approved.

I am just so over this whole process as i'm sure many of you are. I know a lot of people are getting approved daily. But this hass got to stop. It's effectively put everything on hold. All my plans. All my savings are now being used for daily expenses. Its not fair. This whole process is not fair.

With that said, has anyone filed an Extreme Hardship Service Request on this forum, and if yes did anything come of it?

Thanks for reading.

I always read the posts first because I don't want to lose track of where am I. Today in the middle of reading page 507, I decided to open a new tab and check my case just for the heck of it because I'm so exhausted from this whole ordeal. I was not expecting anything so when I saw I got approved I remained very calm. My first reaction was to take screenshots and then go back on this forum because I want to thank everyone for all your support, encouragements, prayers, and advice. This delay is not our fault and we did everything possible so for those who are still waiting, you will be next. Hoping to hear more good news!

Ok, back to page 507.
Congratulation!!!

DISCLAIMER: Text in quotation marks below is not exact

I have to ask this, even thought I know it was asked before.

Why was the "USCIS will mail your proof of benefit" line removed from the I-765 approval? As now it just has "USCIS has approved your request"?

Also I decided to use the USCIS case tracker for my I-765, and it reverted to "USCIS has sent your biometrics letter, please follow the instructions"?

I guess I can attribute this all to their shit online system...but want to make sure...

You seem to be within normal processing time if it has only been about a month after they received your application.

Give it time, as almost everyone is in for a ride, and who knows how long a case will take...just gotta hope for the best and start reaching out to USCIS when things start looking irregular.

LOL. Yeah, mine's the same. No worries. We got approved the same day and for what I've seen today, those that got approved before noon PST have been the ones that have "card production" on the case tracker update. I'm thinking ours will change either tomorrow or Wednesday. I screenshotted my approval for I-765 right away though so I have that on record. ALSO, got my DACA approval letter in the mail today.

So I called the number today inquiring on why it's taking a month to even get my notice or EAD card. First person was no help at all. She said o was approved on their and and couldn't not move forward but for me to file an e-request.
The second rep said I should of got my notice within the 30 days by my EAD will take up to 60 before they can help. What a waste of time.

Did you get a notice for your DACA though?

I have my bio done 7/12 and expiring on 9/28, my uscis status page is still saying my bio has been scheduled. Is this normal? Should it change to something like 'pending decision'? Can someone please share their experience on this?
