I paid my lawyer almost 1900 but the 465 immigration fee was included on that fee..I gave him all he need it August 15 but the bastard didn't send it till the end if the month..: /...he just provably mail my application with the rest of his clients to avoid payin 2 much for the mail...bios done :October 5 cases status initial review......tho in a way he did an awesome job setting up table of contents and all of that in my application it really look so organized and professional..n it's always good to have a lawyer just so they know that u have some one that's representing you..

Nebraska sure has been turning out approvals left and right!

It's been one month 5 days since my Bio and 2 months since I sent out the application. I know
there's people that sent their application in on the 15th and 16th who haven't received a response yet.


I'm just curious why the disparity. I know the amount/type of evidence a person has can speedup or delay the case but you have to wonder how come some people are getting approved in less than a month. Like, what type of evidence did they use? and of the people who sent theirs in early who got approved late (without a RFE), what was the reason for the delay?

I mean it's not like the evidence morphed into something else and thus they were able to get approved. I guess I'm just curious about the process.

No, I'm still waiting since my lawyer didnt submit any evidence of me been here since 97 and I had provided looottttsss of evidence. It took him two weeks to notify me that he didnt have any copies of my taxes, medical records from both my kids and I, bank statements and bills. I also gave him 15 affidavits of citizens and residents that knew me growing up!. He reply to the request on 10/19 and Im still waiting! lol
