My father who's a PR, pays my tuition when he feels like it and because of where I live in GA, it's harder to find work without an SSN.

I don't drive, don't have an SSN, and haven't completed either of my Bachelor's degrees, six years after graduating with honors from high school. At this point, that's all I really want to do.

So, um...I'd give my situation a 5. It could be worse. I could be separated from my Mom or have been deported back home by now.
Im not understanding this. Wont the fact that your father is a PR, therefore a citizen make you one?

Anyway I will say mine is a 10.

Honestly, i think most of us are living well compared to other immigrants around the world. Not to say we are struggling but nothing compared to what others around the world. I live with parents, drive, college grad, job, hobbies, eat out, party, everything is the same except for the psychological fear, but if you learn how to manage that its not as bad. for me i would say 4.

I'd say 3-4
I dont have a DL or SS#
I have a job where I work 40+ hrs. (I work in the field I was going to school for)
I have a nice car I'm paying for thats mine but I can't drive it. =[
I have a wonderful supportive awesome mom (she has a DL and #SS)
I have a BF (USC that doesnt know abt my status)who is nice great guy that I love
but hes bumming it and doesnt have any ambition. (ironic since he's a USC)
I have a few close friends that know abt my status and have my back
I have an nice boss.
I currently cant go to school b/c I'm helping out my mom pay our mortgage (She had 2 jobs, but now only has 1) but I dont mind helping her because she's done so much for me.

Aside from not being able to drive(having a DL/ID) and having to have my mom and BF drive me around every where, and the fact that I haven't been in school for a little over a year now =[ I'd say I don't have it that bad.

About an 8, with 10 being like having cancer or not having enough money for food.

Getting older, no possibility of job in my field, no license, not being able to continue my grad school education, friends moving away etc.
