Hi FaithDrives,

I haven't asked a lawyer, I will definitely seek a lawyer on this part. Thanks!
Just wondering if anyone has a similar situation and how did you fill it out.

With the house, you could put some of the equity as an asset i guess...

If you sent in bank statements then you could include your balance as an asset. Just don't go crazy and have a high amount for asset.

I wold tell the truth and say 50k. But make sure that my expenses go beyond 50k,

In the explanation you can mention car payments, mortgage, school (if any), taking care of siblings, or children ...

Have you asked a lawyer?

OP - don't put anything about wanting to pay back taxes on your I765WS. That's just admitting tax fraud and will not help you out at all.

I'm worried that my income will not show economic necessity and my EAD will be rejected.

I'm quite worried about this and haven't sent in my application only because of this reason. Every lawyer I ask gives me a different answer. Some are even saying to put $0 income.

Any advice or thoughts would be appreciated.

Thanks

There are too many pages to read, but i did read your post..... I'm a business woman and my annual income it's 102.000 but once i deducted everything i only stay with 25.000 and with that i get to pay my car, apartment, among other... I've paid taxes for my every year income , every year since i've been in business, you should not have any problems stating how much money you make. But you do have to pay taxes, everybody it's able to obtain an ITIN number even though we all know we are all here illegally...
