My I-821D was approved today 
EAD is still in production.
I was very surprised too. The whole renewal process took less then 1 month.
My case is pretty "clean" I guess. I don't have any criminal history, misdemeanors, I over-stayed my visitor visa, currently have an I-130 pending, have not left the United States since I arrived 12 years ago, go to college, and work as well.
