Baby steps people. First step was the million or so Dreamers under 30. They worked out the bugs in the system and have scaled it. Next step, 5 million people. It can't be everybody at once because then it would give the impression that it's a free for all. These cases still have some plausible selling points to the skeptics whether or not they'll admit it. The rest of the undocumented folks' faith will ultimately depend on the 2016 election.

If the Democrats lose the White House, you can be 100% sure that there won't be CIR passed for another 10 years because it will show that not only were the conservative voters against this but Democrat base also was against it and immigrant voters stayed at home or didn't care. It all depends on the next election. The line has been drawn now and there is no doubt which party is willing to take the political risk to try to gain the Latino, Asian, and other immigrant votes. If those groups show up, among with American women voters, it will keep the ball rolling. If Democrats take the Senate back and gain seats in the House, it will absolutely embolden the cause.

So in short, whether you got DACA, or your parents benefited or not, you have to absolutely be sales people with your citizen friends and relatives. Make sure they know your story, make sure they are registered to vote.

When the ship is sinking and someone opens the door, you don't just stay there at the door and breathe fresh air,but you rather just run out like the rat...

what so ever, my parents will get qualified that's for sure, because of my older sister who owns USC. my younger sister is an already dreamer, and I'm the only non-legalized person in my family.

I just wish there was a way to adjust status from DACA aside from the marriage route.

At that point, i was already 16 years and 7 months old.

I was also told that my case may have been particularly affected by the fact that i have multiple recorded entries from the time before i established residence at 16 years old. I traveled into the U.S. frequently, and a lot of times those entries were recorded with an I-94, so that's why it's particularly difficult for USCIS to determine whether it was a brief visit or an actual attempt to stay in the country.
Read this post very carefully.

Entered before age 16 - I-94 and your ID (passport?)will prove this
Under 15 as of June 15, 2012 - Same as above
Continuously resided in U.S. since June 15,2007 - no brainer, you just said u enrolled in school 2001. School records, bank statements, anything could prove this.
Physically present on June 15,2007 - ANYTHING really..like a phone bill. This requirement is obvious if you meet the previous one coz you're still in the country lol..but any type of bank statemrnt, cc statemrnt or anything can be used.
No lawful status on June 15, 2012 - LOL
High school diploma - you have this
Not convicted of felony

My question to you is, when is the LAST time you entered the US and is it stamped on i94? All I am saying is the reason you were told you're not eligible is not the reason. It's not even a requirement actually. You don't have to "establish residence before 16". You have to just enter before 16. Now if you traveled out after turning 16, the I will be honest I am not an expert on that but other than that the above requirements are the only thing you need to focus on.

True. I have days where I think marriage is better than nothing, which is sad, but the reality of our limited options.
