If the Democrats choose Kamala Harris this race is over. She has absolutely no economic message and she is a horrible debater, she was never the same after Tulsi Gabbard did a number on her during the Democratic debate. Not to mention her record as a state prosecutor will turn away a lot of the progressive voters which went for either Trump or a third party in 2016.

If the Democrats were smart they would choose Elizabeth Warren. She connects well with the blue collar voters which is what the Democrats badly need right now. Unfortunately it won’t be her because they will lose a senate seat (if they win) and because she is not a “woman of color” which is what the media is pushing for right now.

In my opinion, they need to drop this “we need a to choose a woman of color” narrative, how about choosing the best candidate regardless of color or gender?

This is why the Democrats lost in 2016, they focus way to much on identity politics! They need to chose a candidate that’s been consistent with an economic, healthcare and national security message.

They need to stop running this election like if California and New York are the only states that matter and they need to stop with the identity politics and focus on the real issues that keep Americans up at night.

What?! Yeah, Imma need a source on that. Warren has no charisma at all. If 2016 taught us anything, it's that an election is 90% personality and 10% policy. Frankly, she reminds me of Hillary Clinton too much, and I'm a Clinton fan...

And studies have shown that the VP pick doesn't move the needle much apart from a few points in their home states, so it probably doesn't matter.

I also blame the media for turning this into a "must be a woman of color" race. Biden simply stated is was going to be a woman. He did say woman of color for the Supreme Court. People confused the two statements.

It would have been great if he went with a do no harm choice and picked Klobuchar, but unfortunately she's not getting picked.

I agree, I’m kinda pissed Klobuchar took herself out of the running. I always thought she was a hard worker and would do well In the VP spot. A nice safe pick.

I think Tammy Duckworth would be a great choice expect that she was born in Thailand. Not that there is anything wrong with that, she is a natural born citizen because her father was a citizen. But I can only imagine the rhetoric from Republicans about her citizenship, yikes....
I don't know if the Democratic party wants to risk that. Apart from that, I think she'd be a great choice.

Those are the findings from a new Civiqs poll from Data for Progress, a progressive think tank, conducted among Democratic and Democratic-leaning independent voters aged 18 to 34 across 12 states Democrats hope to win in November: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Michigan, Minnesota, New Hampshire, Nevada, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Wisconsin. 35 percent of respondents chose Warren as their first choice, 19 percent chose former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams, and 16 percent chose Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.).

WASHINGTON (CBS) — Who should presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden choose for a running mate? The favorite VP pick among college students is Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren, according to a new poll.

The survey from College Reaction has Warren leading a field of potential choices with 28%. Trailing her is California Sen. Kamala Harris at 19% and former Georgia gubernatorial candidate Stacey Abrams with 13%.

These are key states that are must win in order to win back the White House, in addition Warren polls better with younger voters who are a big block of the progressive movement.

As far as Hillary goes, that comparison is way off. Warren doesn’t have nearly as much baggage as Hillary, and unlike Hillary, Warren actually has an economic message that she can put to words and explain. Hillary was all about vote for me because I’m a woman and because Donald Trump is mean.

Hillary’s campaign message was mainly focused on identity politics, she completely ignored the middle class because she felt she was entitled to winning the office. Warren has been consistently on point with her message.

I’m no Warren fan, but out all of the women candidates that are in Biden’s list, she’s the only one that can hold her own and go toe-to-toe with Pence on the debate stage.

Harris would be eaten alive by Pence! Not to mention Harris voted against the Dream Act in the senate only because she had her own presidential ambitions that she wanted to pursue.

You don't win elections betting on young voters though, otherwise Bernie would've done a lot better. Young people just don't vote as much. Obama won the election off the black vote and I think that's the main group Biden will try to appeal to. I think the latino vote will be more important than before in this election. AZ, FL, and even TX are very important states. If Trump wants to win those, he should do something. I wonder what that could be? Helping out a group of young people that come predominately from the southern border? Nah, let me take a picture with beans.

Truthfully I don't know what his advisors and his election campaign strategists are smoking.

@HomelandKen
This is ridiculous #FakeNews.
Lots of fake news about #SCOTUS #DACA ruling. Court did not order DHS to give illegal aliens 2 year work permits or permission to travel abroad.
