I agree, all we ever hear is “wait!” “It isn’t the right time” “not yet” “wait till the next election cycle” “wait until we solve this or that problem, bla bla bla...”. Fuck it either solve this or help me leave ! Most of us have lived in this country since we were children. Our entire lives are here. I’ve been here since I was ten. I DO NOT NEED to stay here but I need to be able to come back and attend weddings/funerals. Help family and friends with life shit that comes up.

Remove the 3/10 yr ban for childhood arrivals pretty please...

In the past, it did make sense to play it with caution because there was SOME honor on the Republican side but McTurtle proved that you can get away with breaking traditions and getting what you want just because you can and there is no consequence. They stole the SCOTUS seat in 2016 and that was a very hostile act so you would have thought the Republicans would have paid a huge political price for it and people would be so angry that they'd vote for Hillary and give Congress to the Democrats....except the opposite happened. They got the House, Congress, and 3 SCOTUS seats instead of 2.

Exactly! Democrats better be agressive this time around.

Democrats have to go for a clean DA at this point. Anything less of this and they’ll get their asses handed to them. Republicans want to bring trump level bills to the table. How are democrats suppose to work with that.

Biden set the tone with his immigration bill that contained none of the Republican demands. He understands the mistakes from the past and that you can add whatever they want to the bill and they will still tank it.

Therefore, don't waste time with phony "negotiations" and "bipartisan" political theatre. Dems will use the power of reconciliation to deliver Democratic priorities where they can.

How many times can you use reconciliation power? can you use it on every bill they want to pass?

It looks like the base of the bill is going to be the 2013 Dream act but what the final bill may look like is anyone's guess. GOP also do not want to group TSP and Daca together.

Also found a second article but i think think this method will gain much traction. Rolling up covid relief + green card for daca, tps, and essential workers.
