Hi Everyone,

So my name is Marifer. I've been a creep and finally decided to register to the forum. I'm 21, born in Olancho, Honduras. I came to New Jersey when I was 8 years old. Always knew of my immigration situation, but I never ever let it stop me from pursuing my dreams.

I have my high school diploma, an Associate's degree, and a NJ Cosmetology license. I am a student at Rutgers university, and in 2014 I will obtain my Bachelors in History Secondary Education. I plan on going to my Masters as well. ( no financial aid or loans for my Out of state tuition btw)

I am currently the manager at a hair salon in my town, and also the seconds youngest person working there. My plan is to open my own hair salon when I am done with Rutgers in 2014. After my hair salon is up and running, I'm going to teach high school history.

I am also the Director of the Children's Ministry at my church, a full time girlfriend, sister, and daughter.

So I did apply for DACA, Here's my timeline:

Here in the Lone Star State we cannot, I've gotten as far as my Associates in General Studies but just like you hope to be a high school History teacher or college professor. How is NJ in giving financial aid to undocumented students? Also how affordable has Rutgers University been? May be worth moving to NJ I also help with the children's ministry at my church and also a full time girlfriend, sister, and daughter lol

Its a very noble opinion, but we shouldnt settle... Maybe our parents have gripped the idea that they have to work these poorly paying jobs, because they have forgotten that they came here to succeed.
