Good luck to everyone that has not been approved. Hope this week is your week for the ones waiting a long time.

I think that's what we are all looking forward to.... Just that feeling of being able to get around and not freaking out every time we see a cop.... I just hope most of us use this new found freedom for helping out our community and we never forget how hard it was for us to get this little glimpse of freedom.... I know I'll never take anything for granted thanks to being deprived of living normally for so long.... It's insane to think that we will live "normally"..... After living in the shadows for such a long time.... I wish you all the best....

It seems so unreal... I want to feel that this is real... You guys are awesome we all share the same story... the same feeling ... the same fear... and for the first time I think we all feel our dreams can finally come true!

We need to stop dreaming but living our lives!!!

Saying a special prayer for all those waiting to be approved! Todays is the first sunday night(well technically monday morn) in WEEKS that i have not been hella anxious about Monday. Its kinda of a weird feeling. Being in anticipation for so long, getting something, and not knowing what to do because you've been in that habit for weeks. lol. I'm anticipating my DL on Tuesday and getting called in for some job interviews but the anticipation is not as great as it was for getting approved. But i'm not complaining, the wait is a B*TCH. Hang in there guys. Don't overcheck because that will drive you insane! Commit to checking it maybe every other day or just once or week or so. Your approved when your approved. Doesn't matter if you discover it on that day or a week after. You'll just be closer to actually getting your stuff in the mail. And something that also helped me was making peace with the wait. Don't hate it. Just accept it that it will come when it comes and relax your nerves. Be "one" with the wait. That helped me a lot. I just so happened to get approved on the FIRST and ONLY day since bio that I had not checked my Case status at all, one, because i was tired of the let down of seeing "Initial Review" and two, i was just f*cking tired of seeing "Initial Review". Guess what three is. .Isn't that something. And you know what, I found out the next day i'd been approved. And it was SWEET. I know it seems like your just a number, and that damn blue bubble will never move, I felt like that, but you know what, it did. I still check my status just to see it on "Card Production" and "Post decision" sometimes cause i'm in disbelief lol. Anywhoo, God be with you guys! It'll come. Relax .

I have a question for those that were approved recently....I've seen that the average time for approval after the biometric appointment is around 14-15 days as posted on your info....my question is? did it take the same time for it to show up on the USCIS website???

I took my biometrics on the 17th of October which if all goes well, I should be hearing from them on the 30th...I have the app and I've hold off from checking the app since I know I probably wont hear till the 30th at least.

That average time is out the window now. My wait from bio was about 29 days. Did bio on the 9/24, got approved on the 10/23(Checked the site on the 24th). Give yourself at least a month then start counting the days.
