For AP you can only request if for humanitarian, work, school or family emergency purposes? Has anyone gotten it approve for vacation, see family or for something else? Wish I could have taken advantage b4 Trump takes office but maybe he doesn't cancel DACA for a couple of months and we can still use AP.

So I just got back to Dallas from Mexico I have to say everything went really smooth! The only question the lady asked me was my reasoning for traveling to Mexico, I told her to visit my grandmother and that was it!

Yes that was the only reason why. They wanted a new paper to put new stamp with new date. However I did an info pass and went out to speak with USCIS and they said that the agent was in the wrong. However, if they dont understand it they can apply it how ever they want to and it is STILL up to their discretion to let you in the country.
