Me too!!! I've always wanted to have my own little apartment and take care of my own bills and decorate how you want to and clean when you want to. I am tired of roommates and living with parents.

You don't pay bills?

Yes! I feel like once I do that I will feel completely independent. Pero bueno I need to save up for my car.

Right now I am at home so I only pay for what I use and personal expenses. When I lived with roommates we would split everything but it sucked that the bills were always under other peoples names and even the apartment. I was never on the lease name. So, if something broke I could never complain. I also felt ripped off because I always ended up with the much smaller room and had to divide rent equally. People take advantage of you when they now you can't be on the lease.

It is about the "feeling" Piano not being. If you get what I mean. Not maturity but independence. I just want a little studio to call my own.

Then decorating places with other people sucks too. Some people just have different priorities. They are willing to buy a christmas tree and all the crap that comes with it but don't want to pitch in for a dinning table. If you bring something for the common areas they won't take care of it because it doesn't belong to them. blah!

Well, when I was in school, I rented with other people who I barely knew. We just met in class and we talked about it and moved in together. We didn't have any problems or anything so obviously with guys its different. And we didn't even decorate or anything. Except of them had a cat and his girlfriend virtually lived there and he didn't clean the litter box often enough. I guess that was the biggest issue.


Well, when i was at home, I had bills under my name paying them. Cable, internet, water/waste and garbage. Actually I am still paying for that even thought I moved out.

I guess we are just very different people. I don't think I needed to feel anything. I would just assumed responsibility whenever I could.

So, how much were you making? because I am not paying those bills out of my pocket but I do go pay them on behalf of my parents. I know how much we average per month. How could you afford all of that on your own? Do you not water your lawn? Do you have only basic cable? I have always paid for internet (basic dsl), my cell phone, my laundry, my food, and personal expenses at home. I have never had a cable box in my room so I have never had to pay for cable.

You are telling me you paid of all of your households expenses?
