I have a similar timeline, received on May 9, and expired on Sept 7. Everyday for the last month, I've thought that it would be the day I was finally approved. No such luck. Still I have not lost hope, it can came any day now. The sooner the better.

I hope and pray that all of us get approved soon. Let's stay strong.

Hello everyone

My sister is under the same situation shes renewing for the first time and her permit already expires afew days ago.
All it says on the website that her biometrics appointment was schedule. She has her biometrics appointment in june.
She keeps calling but they are not much help.
Last time they told her it will take another month.

Is strange cause I got approved right away and my card was sent also soon.
We both had diferent service centers.

Hope everyone gets their cards soon.

There is not consistency with them, and very rarely do you get a helpful USCIS officer, keep calling until she gets her luck with someone better. You really dodged a bullet, what was your service center? Have you added yourself and your sister to the spreadsheet on page 1 of the forum?

Congrats! Seems like you have been approved. What's your timeline and when did you check.

Yes I believe so! That is the response I got as well. However, the elis website no longer works for me and I get automatically redirected to the new myUSCIS site. The other case tracker site still says that they scheduled a biometrics appt for me, not that my case has approved.

I contacted my work today and it seems like they need more proof (than just a screenshot). I emailed via elis trying to see if they can send me a confirmation email instead.

I expire tomorrow and I had seen a lot of people get approved the day before their expiration date and I had hope but as of right now I have lost all hope to get approved before tomorrow. I got an answer for my SR saying that my case is still in line to be reviewed, my app was received on May 5th. This is so frustrating.

Washington, D.C. – Today, Congressman Joaquin Castro (TX-20), Second Vice Chair of the Congressional Hispanic Caucus (CHC), led a letter to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) Director Leon Rodriguez to answer several questions regarding a backlog of several hundred Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) renewal applications. On August 10, 2016, USCIS announced that DACA recipients who submitted a request for DACA renewal between February 14 and May 14, 2016 may have experienced a delay in their renewal request due to a “technical problem” at USCIS. Due to the delay, many DREAMers are at risk of losing their job, scholarships, or fellowship program, or even face deportation

Thanks for sharing. Hopefully USCIS feels the pressure and cleans this mess.

I find it had to believe that only 80 of us that contacted NILC have expired. It seems like there would be more.
