Then I checked my travel history last month and saw that they had corrected my initial entry but then the one they created said departure with no port of exit. I went to tell them about this last week and they told me not to worry that their program is not accurate and that it does not mean anything. As long as I have my original I-94. I'm just hope everything runs smooth. Also my i-94 has me paroled until 2016 and my passport says paroled in 2015 a day after I entered with AP.
Hey Have you received any news yet? I feel like my renewal is taking longer than the previous time. They received my paper work May 23rd. My bio-metrics app was on June 24th and now I've been waiting. This is the second time I'm renewing. The first time was so fast in two months I already had everything. I check the status everyday. I still got some time before it expires but I'm worried because its election year.

How do you guys feel about the renewal process this time around?

Thanks!

Any updates Juvi? I haven't received my biometrics letter either ( We have very similar timelines). I have been checking the mail every single day. This is leaving me paranoid lol.

Nada. This has been frustrating and stressfull. I mean last renewal I was expecting a delay since the renewal form came out late. But this time, most of us applied within 120-150 days and they are taking years. I was expecting them to take 4 months not 5 nor 6. Im still hopefull that the renewals are going to come soon.

Hello everyone,

I've been following this thread closely since I am also experience delays in my renewal application. Here is my timeline:

DACA and EAD application accepted by USCIS: 3/14/2016 (Nebraska Office)
Biometrics Appointment: 4/8/2016 (Riverside, CA)
Current DACA expiration: 7/20/2016

This is my second time applying for a renewal, and just like two years ago, I have lost my job due to not having my DACA renewed.

I have done everything in my power to bring attention to my pending case with USCIS. I have followed all the steps listed in the sticky post "NILC DACA Renewal Delay Steps," but none have produced any results. It seems that the only thing these different agencies do is send a "status request" regarding the delay of one's application to USCIS; however, they all land on deaf ears since immigration will not respond immediately to these requests and instead ask that you continue to wait for a response or possibly a renewal. Again, I have lost my job and have pleaded my case to immigration yet I am still left in the dark as to when I will get my DACA renewed. I can also confirm that when you call USCIS customer service they will say that it is taking 6 months to renew DACA, but it contradicts the 4-5 month advance application timeline USCIS requires. What a disgrace.

Currently, I am waiting to hear back from USCIS Ombudsman, my local Congresswoman, Nebraska Service Center, USCIS HQ Office, and NILC (yes I contacted all of these offices) for a status request; so far, it's been one week and counting.

I requested an EXPEDITED request for from I-765 yesterday and this is what I go today:

The status of this service request is:

Thank you for your inquiry. The Nebraska Service Center is aware of the delay in processing of this type of application. At this time, files will only be expedited if a true emergency exists. The I765 teams are diligently working to manage the backlog, processing expedites as well as tackling the normal “first in/first out” inventory. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience this is causing and hope to see a better turn around within the coming weeks.

You have filed for Consideration of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA). We have received your request to have the case expedited. Unfortunately, agency guidelines do not allow for the expedited processing of DACA cases. Therefore, your case will be processed in the order in which it was received.

We hope this information is helpful to you.

Figured I'd add another data point. Starting to get pretty freaked out.

Case Accepted: 03/18/16
Biometrics Completed: 04/06/16
Daca Expiration: 08/17/16

No updates since March on my case.

Hello all. Let me start off by saying finding this forum was a great relief. It's reassuring that people are going through the same experiences I'm going through, and I thank you all for sharing your stories. Like most of you, my expiration date is nearing (10 days away) and I'm stressing out like crazy. Here are my details:

Nebraska March 25th
Exp July 30
Bio done April 20th.

Tomorrow will mark the 120th day mark since i submitted, and like many of you, my case is still under that pesky "initial review" or whatever. So my question here is; is there any way to apply for a temporary extension? I've read online that if we filed anywhere from 120-150 days in advance, we would be eligible for an extension (120 days or so, if case was delayed). Can't find any info on USCIS website. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry for the long post :/

Quiescent,

Yes, there is a possibility for a 2 month extension. In practice, however, you will find that many USCIS agents either do not know about the extension for DACA applicants or outright refuse to help at all.

Your best bet is to contact your local USCIS Field Office and inquire about an "InfoPass." Please note that depending in your area, there might not be any InfoPass appointments such was my case. You can find more info by reading this post under step 3: http://dreamact.info/forum/showthread.php?t=73799
