To his point, he is right in the sense that, it’s not about how much money you make; rather, how much money you don’t spend.

Now if his actions are moral, that is a debate for another time.

Looks like Schumer is ready to give in, Pelosi holding strong.

Quote:
Sen. Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), an on-again-off-again ally of President Trump, made it clear he would not support legislation to reopen the government that doesn't include funding for a wall along the southern border.

The White House brought an offer between Trump’s $5.7 billion and $1.3 billion to the Democrats over the weekend, leaving Sens. Chuck Schumer (N.Y.) and Pelosi, the Democratic leaders of Congress

"To Nancy Pelosi and the House Democrats: No Wall Money, No Deal," Graham tweeted on Friday.

“My gut was that [Schumer] was really interested in doing a deal and coming to some sort of compromise. But the more we’re hearing this week is that it’s Nancy Pelosi who’s preventing that from happening,” said Mulvaney.

This deal though doesn’t include any DACA deal, it just simply brings down the $5 billion to $1.3 billion something in which Schumer is ready to give in which in this case I do agree with Pelosi by not giving in. Heck Schumer since late November has been willing to give Trump $1.6 billion for the wall with nothing in return.

How did we go from Harry Reid to this weak idiot.

it is what it is mayne.. its politics at the end of the day.

Pelosi is trying to protect her bid for Speakership. If she makes a deal with Trump now, she will scare the liberal wing of her party to vote for her as Speaker on Jan 3rd.
