I agree with the expiration date theory. I decided to check online and saw that on September 5th, the EAD card was ordered for production. Weird, no email/SMS notification. I guess I-821D will follow shortly.

Add me to the approved list!! I randomly checked like another person in the forum and my status was updated to card production. My EAD was set to expire 10/2 and I applied back in June, with Bio in July like mostly everyone else. Looks like they are finally moving along.

I also got approved. Expiration is 10/4. Receipt was June 10, biometrics was late June.

I'm getting a PhD in Chemistry! Do it! PhD is an intense program from what I hear but very rewarding. And if you end up going to a place that you love then that motivation is key! Best of Luck.

Sept. 26 expire date here. Already seeing people with expiration dates from October getting approved casts some doubt on what seemed like a solid "going by expiration date" idea.

Approved for renewal Sept 05th, EAD expired on Oct. 4th

Original expiration 10/2/2014, I just checked and saw that I was approved 9/5/2014.

The DACA application is still pending though...
