I'm sure you guys could imagine the frustration we are both going through. And, me especially. I look at my husband and he just has such worried eyes. I hate thinking it and saying it, I feel completely responsible for all this mess. So sorry to hear. Keep your head up and use all the resources you can to get your case approved. Since you are an end of June app, you should be approved in the next 2-3 weeks if USCIS keeps up this pace. Hopefully your case status will update to approved and maybe your employer can use that to keep you on the job. Worst case scenario, you may have to be fired and rehired a couple weeks later which is what a lot of employers are doing with people on here. Good luck.

Unfortunately, there's also delays getting the actual work permit, so you might want to plan for a long wait, I've read people here wait anywhere from 12 days to 20+ days to get their permit in the mail after they are approved. I'm crossing my fingers that this week there is more activity in approvals and such, but being a short week, we might not get that. Seriously crossing my fingers this week! |

I my EAD expires, I also lose my job; hopefully we get approved soon!

Still waiting and nothing, my EAD expired on 11/06/16 and my employer is already asking me for some information. I called USCIS and they told me to call back on 10/31/16 because that's when 105 days will be since my application. The last 2 times I applied I got my renewal in so quick. Whats going on this year?

The technical error for Feb.-May slowed things down, this years election are slowing things down because of the N-400 (trying to push out a lot of immigrants to USC to vote) and they are backlogged. But hopefully they will start picking up the pace.
