Hey guys, my EAD is set to expire 9/24. I was getting a little nervous as i had not received any updates since bios (7/12/24) . Now today i checked my status and my 821d was approved this morning BUT it looks like my EAD card was ordered for production on 9/5.

Congrats to all of the approvals.

Are the cards still coming with the incorrect expiration dates?

weird.
Do you had anymore info because that just happened to me.

My guess is, yes they will still come with the incorrect expiration date. I just received my i821d letter of approval and it states that im defered till 9-3-2016. The original expiration date on my ead/daca was 9-19-2014.

Got my ASC letter for the 16th. Tried to drop in today, but was told that they are booked like crazy. Looks like the 16th for me as scheduled - expiration date is mid-Jan so I'm not worried.

Ah, a fellow scientist. Bio major over here Wish I could try for a PhD but my GPA isn't exactly competitive. I haven't worked on any extensive research projects either. There's also the fact that it would probably take me about 6 years to complete the PhD plus maybe another 2 years for post-doc and I'm not sure that living off a stipend for that long is going to cut it because I'm not exactly a spring chicken... just turned 30. By the time I finish I would be pushing 40.

That's why I think going for a Masters is a better option; shorter time frame, more chances of getting in considering my GPA and gives me the ability to continue working on the side, perhaps even be lucky enough to have my employer pay my way through school.

Totally! Any graduate degree (masters/PhD) will be great, specially in the sciences. Good luck!

I-821D changed to "Post Decision Activity" today. Looks like I'm re-deferred

Welppp, work permit and DACA renewal all taken care of, looks like I have no need for this forum anymore—time to disappear again for two years. See ya'll in 2016!!!!

Does anyone know about how many days after do you get the card after being approved? Just a rough estimate, maybe?
