So went into production the 29th of September and mailed out today. A total of about 18 days in between.

Congrats to everyone who was approved!! How long does it usually take to receive your card? I'm unfortunately still waiting and super agitated from this whole process. Any tips or tricks to keep me sane? All I see is my bank account dwindling. I've been going to the gym so often the receptionist congratulated me and said how proud he was of me lol. |
I've been hitting the gym more often as well but I also recommend going outdoors, it does wonders to clear your mind. I've personally been doing tons of hiking and highly recommend it. The good thing about not working right now is that during the weekdays, the super popular trails around where I live are pretty empty

I have an update for you guys!
Both my ELIS and Case Tracker have an updated status for my EAD:
09/29/16: We are producing your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization .
10/16/16: We produced your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization .
Current Status on Both the Online Tracker and my ELIS Account for the 765: Case Was Approved: On September 26, 2016, we approved your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization , Receipt Number X. We will mail your approval notice. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.
I'm a little confused since I don't see the "green card has been shipped" status that people have been getting after their EAD has been produced and shipped. I assume the 765 approval notice will include the EAD? Looks like it's at the stage where the card has been produced, but not shipped?
Also note how the red language on the current status of the 765 differs from my status on my 821D:

Please follow the instructions in your notice. If you do not receive your approval notice by November 5, 2016, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

I'm waiting on them to get back to me. I remember during the first renewal I got a official approval letter for DACA as well as I-765. But I don't think they send those for EAD anymore. For the time being I'm going to try using the DACA approval letter but knowing my HR, they'll ask for a I-797 notice because that's what is supposedly acceptable according to USCIS. Can't win with these people!
