Came in, self-checked in at the computer and was called in like five minutes. Lady, seemed pretty nice, she told me I looked like a baby in my passport photo, even though I got that passport when I was a young teen. Did not ask me anything, just typed away on her computer for a couple of minutes and looked over my passport and EAD card. After that, she just gave me a receipt to confirm that I am applying for SSN and told me that I should have it in two weeks. I asked her if I could come back to get a printout and she said no so I guess that's the little downer in all this. Still it could have been worse if I wasn't in their system yet or something.
Well at least you were in the system , you can try another office to see if you can get a print out.

Okay, so I went to apply for my SSN at 87th St & Sacramento Ave in Chicago today (which is a day after my EAD arrived in the mail). Everything went smooth, and the lady told me I will receive my SSN card in the mail 5-10 business days. No mention of the "10 day wait after DACA before applying for SSN"

There was no mention of any wait because the guidelines call for a 7-10 day wait period. You were approved on the 12, and applied for ssn on 19. That's 7 days. Congrats you're in the clear. You can now get a print out.

So if a previously had a SSN that stated "Not for Employment" do I still need to wait the 10days?
Or should I be in the system already, and can go as soon as I get my EAD In the mail?

Thanks.

Awesome. I received my EAD yesterday around 5PM. So i dont know why there was a big buff about waiting 10 days after receiving EAD if the verification wait is, as you stated, 7-10 days from the approval date.

Go after you receive your EAD in the mail. I went the next day after receiving my EAD because it arrived around 5PM, and SSA offices close at 3:30pm over here.
