My case was updated , does anyone know what this means? I'm worried I have the same for thing for both cases

1st EAD expires 9/18/14. 2nd EAD came today and the expiration date is 9/01/16

It is a renewal application, the assumption is that it will be renewed from the original date of issuance. I contacted someone who would know since several people, including myself, were worried about what seemed like USCIS screwing us over once again. The last time people got EADs with one year. This time it seemed like they were purposefully short changing people on their time.

Did you miss all of worried renewal applicants back in the 50s of this post?

There is no point in people wasting time with InfoPass appointments or sending back their EADs for correction if there will not be a date change. It apparently was not obvious to some of us.

Just got my card today. New EAD expiration date 09/04/2016. See you guys in two years! Best of luck to everyone.

Just got mine in the mail as well! It expires 9/4/16 as well.
