The T1 wouldn't put one in either even though I reached 105 today according to them because it has to be after 105. Fucking great.

Even more depressing is that the T2 confirmed my application hasn't been assigned to an officer yet.
Yes, try calling early in the morning, they are also much nicer, since it is the beginning of the day. Tell them your case is out of normal processing times and that your EAD is about to or already expired. That is what I told the T1 when I told them I needed them to place a service request.

you can also put in a service request online (I did one for each one of my receipts)

The speculation about the background check having to do with the delays are wrong. There has been no bulletin about it across service centers. The true devil in the picture is the new freaking electronic system. There is special place in hell for the contractor that won the bid for overhauling the system.
I read about the issues with the electronic system to. I typed my forms... would it be easier for them if I did them by hand? That way they have to be seen by a person as opposed to try to be fed through their 'scanners'? Sending my application on Monday... so I'm trying to make it at simple for them.

Thanks for the post.

My girlfriend was able to get her job back with the DACA approval letter we printed from ELIS. After having the status update at 11am on 10/14 for a 10/13 approval, the DACA approval letter showed up in ELIS at 3:45pm on 10/17. Since it had the dates, HR accepted it and rehired her. (We also relayed that the card was being produced and that everify should show she's eligible to work now, though I'm not sure if they checked.) I assume she'll have to show them the EAD within 90 days as is usually the case when the card isn't in hand.

I've read some say 10 days and others up to a month?
The google doc isn't being updated with EAD receipt dates much by people already approved, but, according to what is there, it's taking on average 15 days. If I had to venture a guess from what I've seen around here and elsewhere, it's really more of an average of about 3 weeks.

I had a similar situation happen to me. I was never let go, but they were about to had I not gotten that on friday, I would have been toast.

For those who just received their cards did you have to sign for it or was it just left in your mailbox?
