Here is my timeline.... my case was sent to Nebraska. How long is it taking to receive the actual work permit in the mail?
Not sure if to start applying for a job now, or wait until I receive a notice my card is being mailed. I hope everyone gets approved soon, and hopefully we won't have to go through this again.

Daca expired: 9/8/2016
Renewal accepted: 4/25/2016
I-821D approval: 10/17/2016
EAD: ?

You guys have definitely provided much needed support since I don't know and I am not exposed to anyone who is going thru this. So thank you for that.

I too have submitted service requests via the online tool. My response was "Your application is within the normal processing time." (which if I had known it was not going to be a "normal processing time" I would've submitted sooner)
I have also submitted an Ombudsman request with no response besides the generic receipt email.
I have also contacted my local congressman. No response from him yet.
I have called Customer Service multiple times to which they continuously tell me that they can't provide any information until it's been 105 days.

Application Receipt Date: 7/11/16
Biometrics Appointment: 8/12/2016
Current EAD Expiration Date: 10/23/2016
Approval: ??

Oddly today, I was locked out of my USCIS case status account because of "inactivity or too many log in attempts." Not sure what the issue is...

Just got off the phone with a Tier 2 rep. He told me that on Oct 20 (yesterday) my case was still pending for the background check. Are there delays all around in regards to this? I was told the same thing back when I called in September. Does anyone know from experience how long it will take for the background check to complete and how long it takes for the case to be approved afterwards? I'm just really worried guys.

Here is my timeline:
Application received: May 30
Biometrics done: August 12
DACA/EAD expiration: Sep 8

I just got a reply from an SR e-request I submitted regarding my status and this is what NSC said:

Quote:
U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) records show your case is in line to be reviewed by an officer. We ask that you allow additional time for this process to take place since we process these cases in the order received. If after 60 days you have not received anything in the mail, please contact the National Customer Service Center (NCSC) at the number provided below.

What You Can Do
Please see the “Online Services” below to check the status of your case in the near future. We apologize for the delay.

We hope this information is helpful to you.
The SR number had TSC at the end so I thought I was going to get a reply from TSC but I got a reply from NSC. I can't wait 60 days that's for sure. Pretty sure that's a generic/arbitrary number but still this just sucks.

That might just be something he's saying just because he has nothing else to justify it, so maybe you'll get approved at any time. Don't be too worried, maybe you'll get approved today or next week. I haven't seen anyone here in the forum saying they got delayed because of a background check specifically, but delayed for every other reason.

I had that same EXACT answer, but I submitted that SR before my 105 days. The SR the T1 officer submitted for me after I hit 105 days starts with T1B which is weird since my other SR started with SR.

hi. I was approved last week (full timeline is renewal app received 5/12/2016, bio 6/02/2016, i821D approved 10/12/2016)

But I do have a question/worry. On the Case Tracker, it says 'Case Approved' for my i821D and 'Card is being produced' for my i765. However, on ELIS, my i821D says 'Approved', but my i765 still says 'your request is processing'.

Why is there an inconsistency/delay between the Case Tracker and ELIS? Is anyone else going through this? Should I be worried and give them yet another call? Thanks

Everyone who got approved in the recent weeks have posted that the inconsistency and delay in updates on Case Tracker and ELIS. In general ELIS had information regarding DACA approval and case tracker had EAD approval/card status. It's sort of a normal thing and it's not that surprising, considering how messed up they are.
