Has anyone that did a walk in (emphasize a walk in) in the week of September 17-21 been approved?

Dear God I know the people that are doing our applications have to be thorough and professional but unlike many who say that a few weeks does not compare to years in terms of not being able to work; I am 30 and need to get on with my life. You who are 20 or early 20's were speared going through your 20's not being able to fully participate what others took for granted.

lol amen to that. I'm late 20s and i know what you mean. Though its only been for the past 4 years that i havent been able to work, it was still a significant chunk of my "adult" life.

I beg to differ. There are quite a few people here that are close to 30 (myself included) and I still do not mind the wait and time that it takes to go through this whole process, because I realize that 6 months ago, many of us had nothing to apply for. I, for one, am grateful that this DACA came around.
And regardless what someone's age is, people figured out how to deal with their status and circumstances; many have graduated college and went for masters degrees, that's saying a lot--their status was not holding them back too much. Not being able to drive--there's public transportation as a solution and riding a bike is also healthy as another option. As for jobs, others have been able to do it and some are earning pretty well.

There were times in my late 20's when I literally went hungry many many times. After going through that basic human deprivation you arise a hatred towards the human body for having to eat at least 3 times a day. That specific case is why I will never ever be part of this country I will never be an "American" the pain was just too much. I know this sounds weird but all I have stated is true.

For the August applicants who are still waiting, think about this: just two months ago, we were all expecting the process to take 4 to 8 months. We never expected people to get approved in 3 weeks. At that rate, you guys will have your EAD's by late October, at most early November
