LMAO

Haha but, seriously, DACA was so new that many lawyers knew as much as some people here did. It wasn't like they had seen the forms in advance.

There's a good chance that they may be able to re-apply if they were denied because of a mistake on the application or a mistake by USCIS.

If they were to have been denied for criminal record or fraud, they probably would have been issued a Notice To Appear.

All you really had to do is attend one or two free clinics to get the basics then read the directions really carefully. Google sample applications. Following your instincts. I feel that some people failed majorly at reading directions and just organizing evidence. I remember helping people put their evidence together and it was all over the place.

[MOD EDIT: Rude language]

A mistake on their form such as putting down your place of residence is Mexico could be enough for uscis to claim you lied and the case being forwarded to ICE

Smh .....

Also, the geo horror the lawyer made..... So she had to send again papers stating she was here when daca was out and she applied here in USA not mexico!!

She received a noti of RfE papers received......

As for the lawyer she is really good!! My whole family has used her services..... 3 of my brothers are now us citizens or residents, as matter fact my dad has bios tomorrow...PRAYING FOR A SMOOTH PROCESS!! but i have to admit that the stupid clerk also did an error on my dad paperwork which led to uscis sending his papers back because they filed my resident brother as petitioner when my us citizen brother signed the form, also they put my dads wrong Dob, that was not even close to his.....all this happen around same time that my sis and BIL sent their rfe proof!!....
Since she got an rfe to prove who she was it doesn't make sense the issue of putting Mexico as country of residence would be cause for denial. Wouldn't the rfe also included 'prove you currently reside in US?'? And why bother with rfe if wrong country of residence would cause a denial? Why not outright deny? Anyway hopefully denial notice comes soon so you know the reason and then can see what can be done.

so i read something about her graduating in 2000, her and her husband might be too old for daca and is the reason why they got denied.

DACA cap is 31.
