So, basically we may not even get a delay waiting for the SCOTUS where we could maybe sneak in another renewal.

It could all end by like next February?

Yikes, dark times are fast approaching.
A possible outcome.

It's worse than 2016 because Republicans control the supreme Court and the anti-immigrant rhetoric is much stronger today than in 2016.

The most important question is:

Will the Supreme Court end DACA renewals in the Spring of 2025, or the Spring of 2026???

I am really hoping I can squeeze in my last renewal and do AOS ASAP!

"Trump will begin operations to deport millions of undocumented immigrants when he starts his term, campaign press secretary Karoline Leavitt said Wednesday morning.

He'll launch the "largest mass deportation operation" of undocumented immigrants on Day 1."

the mother of all humanitarian crisis will start soon. the ultimate battle for compromise on DACA will probably even trigger intervention from the Mexican Government and major corporations this time, since now for good we are going to lose everything.

honestly United We Dream has to fck off with their legalization for all or nothing bullsht this time. this time we cannot afford to have a deal blocked.

A lot of Latinos also don't think a woman can be a leader and let's face it, they don't care at all about people like us and they wanted to be like their white friends so they also voted for Trump.

Then you had this year's version of Bernie Bros: Arab Americans who pouted and stayed home because of the Gaza/Israel war and they wanted to "own the libs" by getting Trump in and take away the only restraint Israel had. Add the whole "your kids are going to be trans" and "your kids are going to get drafted to fight in Ukraine" fears and it was over before it began.

I really don't know what the DNC can do in the future. Maybe not pander to a tiny minority of supporters when the vast majority hate that group? But then we're one of those tiny groups.
like for real the heck happened to them after Obama left? Biden barely did anything for anybody. i sometimes think he even aided in Trump winning.

at least we didn't get DeSantis or Vivek, those clowns for sure deporting everyone on sight.

if immigration doesnt get fixed by Trump in this term the mass deportation thing could become reality by whoever wins on 2029 on the republican side.

Josh Shapiro is very popular in PA. He would of won by a landslide had he ran against Trump. DNC dumb as fuck for falling behind Harris.

There are millions of votes still being counted...something is off.
There are 17-20 million fewer votes, but more ballots than in 2020?

Call you local orgs and reps about what can be done to protect, even in the interim, as many people as possible from deportation.

Biden fucked big time as did Durbin and the old clowns in the Democratic lack of leadership. Focused only on the new arrivals and not on screening and creating pathways for people who have been here for decades.

MSNBC asked this black (R) lawmaker and he didn't answer what should happen to us. Cruel.

The Biden White House stopped working on domestic policies and economic incentives for the every day person. Sure, Wall Street is doing great. Billionaires are doing amazing. But not the avg person.

Trump won't be better. But he didn't promise prosperity.

This is a right-wing country and full of racism and anti-science bias. Heartbreaking.
