Trumpism is here to stay and Democrats messaging as you read above is partly to be blamed for this...Record number of latino voters went behind Trump, especially in Miami-Dade county in Florida. Also he continues to garner a lot of support in small rural towns from middle class working people. These are not all "racists". There are many good people out there. Both sides have very bad supporters and good/decent people. Look how close this election got, although I think Biden will win. This is something Democrats need to take seriously. They've also failed most likely to make gains in the Senate. I think both Republicans and Democrats need to reevaluate their respective messaging. Unless there is substantial compromise by both sides, I think we will have DACA for a very long time and it will be up to us to individually adjust via marriage.

If Nevada is decisively Biden, as now seems likely, and everyone calls it, Fox is going to have a crazy tense decision about uncalling Arizona. Because, if they don't, they got to call the whole thing.

A little inside baseball, but this dynamic may affect how different networks are handling Nevada. If you’ve called Arizona (which I don’t think you should have!), then a Nevada call would give Biden the election. But Nevada is probably callable at this point!

I’m not a decision desk, but I suppose I think Nevada is on the verge of being callable at this point. Two-thirds of the state’s population is in Clark County and Biden is gaining big in Clark County! Not sure I see the route for a Trump comeback.

Looks like a done deal to me. We'll wait and see.

And most moderate Democrats are leaving and going to the Republican Party because the Democratic Party has been overtaken by the leftists.
The republican party has been moving to the right. The democrats always give in to the republicans, which moves the democrats and the entire country to the right. That's why you sometime see democrats as republicans, because some democrats of today would've been republicans in the past. "The squad" are basically people that are tired that the democrats give in every time. Similarly, something like this happened with the republican party call the "tea party" where they wanted to address the federal deficit. The squad happened because of high personal debt (healthcare, education, etc). These "groups" happen because of important issues that are ignored.

A functioning government would address these issues like the national debt, the cost of healthcare, education, etc. The problem is that the two sides won't come to the table and address these issues. Before people disagreed on the principles of ideas and would discuss those ideas. Now, people attack the character of the individual so policies are not even discussed. So the only thing that can pass into law these days are just budget bills to avoid government shut down.

If the democrats have some charisma and let the people know the issues they want to address like cost of healthcare, cost of education, wages, etc, these issues are very popular. $15 minimum wage passed in Florida by 23 points even though Florida is very red now. If you remove the democrat out of the equation and let people vote for a democratic policy, then it's clear the policy is very popular but the democrat (person) isn't popular. From this, you can tell Republicans are much better at politics than democrats. Trump is a very charismatic and entertaining person which gets past the very important barrier of even listening to a politician. If you were to list the top charismatic democratic leaders, AOC would be pretty high on that list so ironically or unironically, she's needed in the democratic party. Otherwise, you have the same cycle of democrats always giving to republicans and the whole country moves to the right. This is again, something the other side has as well called the tea party.

For the tea party and the "squad" to disappear, you only need to do one thing. Address the issues that's facing the country, aka do what governments are supposed to do. Otherwise these outlier groups will keep popping up over and over.

The problem now is that anyone trying to address will be labeled a liberal, socialist, or leftist. Dem need a deep internal review, get their message, get their plan, and get their people in line. They have 4 years to change their message because the Trumpers will be out next election. There is a good chance Dems lose the house during mid-terms based on what we are seeing now.

Main Focus- needs to be Covid, Jobs, Economy
It's not the right time for complete immigration reform, but you can sneak some parts in there when covid settles.
Daca, TPS, and so on can garner enough support as long as it's a narrow bill.

As unpleasant as that sound, that is the reality of the situation.

You never know man. There repubes might rule in Trump's favor even though we all know his allegations are baseless.

Looks like his supports already think that the votes were stolen from Trump. This clown is not gonna step down easily if he loses.
