So pretty much walking in for biometrics actually delays your process? I'm extremely impatient right now, I need this in order to make the transition from comm college to a university, get a decent job and move the fuck out of my parents' house. I wish this was over already.

I haven't seen that to be the case. It helps some people, and has no affect on others. Some applicants from August are actually still waiting for a decision. We don't know why, though.

Someone correct me if I am wrong. I'd hate for someone to do a walk-in and be negatively affected.

Nope my sister did a walk in a day after she got her bio letter and she got approved within a week after the bio.

Wow my process date are exactly the same as yours I did my biometrics on the 28 of September also not a walkin... But thank you! I hope so!

I applied the first week and still nothing , I didn't do a walk in I waited for my appt

I think this process would be a lot easier to cope with if I was still in high school, not having to worry about jobs, bills, gas, tuition, etc.

I think it's a Vermont service center thing cause I'm with that service center also
