I got a text from uscis that my name for case I-765 was updated.What does that mean?

Go check your case status on the website, and tell us

It just says that my name was updated for my I-765 nothing else.

Holy Shit I just found that I dont have a receipt number for the I-765 that i sent in. WTF! and when I called USCIS, they said that they not taking anymore calls for the day...BULLSHIT!

I'm in tears...this is crazy!

That''s weird if you didnt put in a service request to change your name... They had my wrong address on my 765 thus i didnt receive my bio-metrics letter. I had kept calling until they faxed it to me... When I arrive at the bio center the lady asked me to look on the screen to make sure all the information is right and I saw that my address was wrong. Called them the next day to correct it and to weeks later I received a text stating my 765 was updated... It was the address changed

Just add one to last digit if your receipt number, that should be your i765 case number.

Im sure you can get this straightened out tomorrow... Don't cry, it's going to get harder before it gets better Vermont is like being in a waiting room in HELL!!!
