My second renewal was sent around the same time (to Nebraska)
applications received 10/2/2016
Biometrics 10/17/2016 (by appointment)
DACA Approval and EAD in production 12/12/2016
anyone else notice faster than usual processing times with Nebraska?
when I had sent mine initially I forgot to include passport photos and left travel information completely blank. I then sent in the missing information the day later referencing my A# and both receipt #s
I never got an RFE which I was worried about delaying my application.
Just happy it got approved before Trump's inauguration. Crossing fingers now for some comprehensive immigration reform.

My ead and daca was set to expire 2/28/2017
I received my ead yesterday 12/17/2016 and the card's issue date is post-dated 2/26/2017 and good for another to years from then.
I'm just happy it got approved before Trump's inauguration. Crossing fingers now for some comprehensive immigration reform.

Oh and I know you didn't ask me but the last thing I did was a service request over the phone for the I182D or whatever form it is for the daca, not the work permit. The rep I talked to right away told me I had been waiting for way too long... I didn't say anything other than provide my info unlike the other times where I felt I was begging them to have compassion. I mean, she took over and she was typing... lol. I know this sounds ridiculous but I could hear she was actually working. She was like actually reading out loud while typing. Then she said you'll hear something within 15 days. As soon as I heard the 15 day thing I felt that it was just another BS answer. But I got approved on the 15th day. I also had just contacted my congresswoman who had just responded my email saying she would assist me. But who knows what did it. |
