Hi Guys-
I am new to this forum and I need help with few things. Please help me out

11/21/16 Sent out application
11/28/16 Text receipt w/ 2 receipt numbers received
12/20/16: Received a letter 'Request for Additional Evidence: for not providing photography, thumb print by attending ASC.

So I searched up the 2 receipt numbers on USCIS case status, found out followings.

1 receipt number (for I-765) says: They sent out the biometrics letter in mail on 11/25.
if I have not yet received the letter, e-request for not receiving notice starting from 12/25.
(Fact: I did not receive biometrics letter in mail as of 12/23/16 so I already put a e-request).

1 another receipt number(for I-821D) says: They sent out request for evidence. (Fact: I did receive only this letter).

USCIS sent biometrics letter on 11/25? and sent me text receipt on 11/28.
Did not receive anything in mail (I-797 nor the biometrics letter )
I only received a Request for additional Evidence for not providing photography or thumbnail by attending biometrics.
This letter for request for additional evidence was received on 12/20.

From 11/25 to 12/23, for about a month, I did not receive biometrics mail all though case status says they did sent me. And I received the letter for additional evidence request. I am very sure I did not receive those biometric letters.

Question 1. I figured to sign-up for USCIS ELIS and found out I need 'Account Access Code' to track/ review status.
So I went to Contact Us menu and wrote a request, selecting 'Help creating account',to provide me the code.
Is this all I can do to receive the access code?
What other ways to receive the access code?

Question 2. Did anyone see case status saying biometrics letter sent in mail and have not received the mails for almost a month? What can expedite them to re-send me the letter?
I put e- request for not receiving the notice.
I called customer service, they told me to wait until 12/25 and they will put an e request for me as well.

Question 3. What's happened is what's happened. I missed the letter or they never sent out.
But is there anyway I can track USPS what's been sent to my address within recent 2 months?

Thank you so much for reading guys! If you know anything, please do advise! It would be a great help.
Bless all!

11/21 Sent out application
11/28 Receipt text w/ 2 receipt numbers received
12/20: Received a letter for additional evidence to attend the biometrics.
12/20 Searched up 2 receipt numbers on USCIS case status, fount out 1 receipt number says: They sent out the biometrics letter in mail on 11/25 if I have not yet, e-request the problem from 12/25. (I did not receive biometrics letter in mail).
1 another receipt number says: They sent out request for evidence, which I did receive.

12/22 so far today: I did not receive I-797 receipt of the applications nor biometrics letter in mail.
Only received request for evidence: to attend the biometrics.
Again, on USCIS case status, it says USCIS sent out the biometrics letter in mail to me on 11/25.
(They sent out biometrics letter on 11/25 and sent me text message for receipt of application on 11/28...)

Hello. Welcome! As far as question number 1. I also had an issue with the code. I received a letter with the access code but the code never worked. I called IT people to get a new code but I had tried logging in too many times or something that my account was locked and I had to wait and call back. Meanwhile, I ended up here and decided to just create a whole new account with a different e-mail and it let me have access to the online account and it let me add my case numbers and all without the stupid access code. So, if you just go to "sign up" at the upper left corner and create a new account you should be able to create the account. I mean, it worked for me.

Mine was super early.

Expires: 4/19/17

Application sent/received within that 120-150 days period: 11/9/16

BIO appt: 12/16/16 (5 days ago!!!) - went on scheduled date, didn't want to mess up the process somehow by walking in early. That's just me lol

This is my second renewal. First renewal got approved less than 2 months from Bio appt and 2 months before expiration of then, current EAD. I'm an overstay with no criminal background. I don't consider myself a "complicated" case.

I'm excited, but im not going to get my hopes up till i get my card. I know beggers can't be choosers, but it does kind of suck that I might end up losing 4 months of EAD time lol. Anybody know if that will be the case?

And my 821 hasn't been updated yet. Should i be concerned?

Also, I can only imagine how stressful it's been for the people that have applied months ago and are still waiting. I'm genuinely sorry that you guys are going through that bs.

My old EAD doesn't expire until early march 2017. My second renewal got approved and the new EAD that just came in is post dated with an issue date of late febuary 2017 to 2019. so no months lost. I hope people are experiencing the same thing. Make sure you reference your A#, case number(s) with a cover sheet and a copy of your older EAD when applying for a renewal. Seemed to help in my case, or maybe I just got lucky.

People who have recently applied appear to be getting approved within the normal processing time and you are definitely within the normal processing time. Good luck!
Queen B...random question why on God's green earth would you wait ONE MONTH before expiration to apply?! Accruing unlawful presence in the country comes with serious consequences if you ever applied for an adjustment of status

I sent mine a few days after my permit expired last month and haven't heard anything from them, what are the chances of it not getting approved? I remember last time it was around a month too but it's getting kind of worrying. I'm currenly taking 1 online class I owe to get my diploma but I showed paperwork for that just not sure if that counts as being enrolled in school or not though, my lawyer said it was fine but I don't know will I get at least a letter telling me I was denied or something?

If there is a problem with the information you sent regarding 'being enrolled in school' you will first receive an RFE (request for more evidence) before a denial. This will give you a chance to send in more evidence should there be a problem. The next step should be a biometrics appointment.

i forgot to give a little bit of information. My congressman did an inquiry for me on 12/19 and by 12/20 had a response saying my case still needed a background check. And on 12/21 it was approved. I don't know if that's a coincidence but I think that happened to someone else that contacted their congressman and got the same response. I live in Texas so I was hesitant in reaching out but it worked out. It doesn't hurt to try for those still waiting.
