PLEASE LET ME KNOW AND THANK YOU!!
Hey bro. Don't know about Illinois.. but here in CT, they are giving the normal 6-year license for DACA/EAD. But only the normal license - they are not giving ppl with 2 year EADS the verified one, called "select id" (with the star).

Ikr.. its bad. I wouldn't mind the wait, if so many ppl weren't getting approved in like a month. Don't get me wrong, everyone deserves this as much as I do... and it would be awesome if everyone could get approved as fast as possible... but it pisses me off that my application is sitting there gathering dust.

I was reading in another immigration forum for ppl that submit I-765 based on other applications, that the delay could be due to a problem with the biometrics. If your prints weren't well taken, the FBI will reject them due to them being "inconclusive". Technically, USCIS should immediately notify the applicant and send a letter scheduling a second biometrics appointment. If the second set of fingerprints was also to come up inconclusive, you would then have the option of getting a 5-yr criminal history check from your local police department and submitting it to USCIS.

So, as of right now, I think that could be a possibility for me, as I know for a fact that my fingerprints weren't well taken... the guy kept having to scan my fingers over and over again. It took like 30 mins. I was like WTF!

Maybe they will look into it now that I sent a service request. Who knows...

Same thing happened to me. I was also told that the machine was unable to read my prints correctly. And it was scanned numerous times. You may be on to something.

I called FBI the day after I took bios and they told me that the prints were acceptable and that they were sent back to USCIS.
